Our History

Air Design, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Allen A. McCoy, who brought a unique perspective to the commercial and industrial HVAC industry. After graduating from college with a degree in geology, Allen established and operated a successful ventilation business, eventually bringing his sons, Russell and Peter, into the growing company. Today, Russell and Peter are dedicated to maintaining the high standards set by their father over 35 years ago.

Our Team

Our friendly and experienced staff operates our main Southfield office and warehouse, serving East Michigan, and our Holland office, serving West Michigan. Air Design is owned and managed by Russell McCoy PE, and Peter McCoy, whose engineering background and sales experience complement each other's abilities in serving our customers in a professional and efficient manner.
