Camp Middlesex

Welcome to Camp Middlesex, where we have been providing unforgettable summer experiences for campers since 1941. Our mission is to create a supportive environment for youth and adults to reach their fullest potential. We strive to achieve this by offering a variety of programs that stimulate the development of self-esteem, leadership skills, and an appreciation for nature. Our camp is designed for campers aged 6 to 15, offering both day and overnight camps.

At Camp Middlesex, we believe that every day should be an adventure. We provide opportunities for campers to hike through leaf-canopied trails, swim, learn archery, and make lifelong friends. Our camp is situated in Ashby, Massachusetts, and offers free transportation from Lowell, Littleton, Groton, and Pepperell. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of safety and welfare for our campers and staff.

Our staff is comprised of individuals from all over the world, ensuring a diverse and caring environment. We maintain a 4:1 camper to counselor ratio, and all staff undergo thorough background checks and training before the start of camp. Our senior staff are all trained in education, and we have a licensed RN/LPN on site 24-hours while camp is in session.

Program Areas

Our programs are designed to provide a range of experiences that cater to different interests and abilities. From nature-based activities like hiking and archery to arts and crafts, we strive to offer something for everyone. Our theme weeks allow campers to explore different interests in depth, such as Horseback Riding Week or International Week, which includes cultural activities and performances.

Safety is our top priority at Camp Middlesex. We comply with all state health codes and undergo an annual health inspection. Our commitment to safety ensures that campers can enjoy their experience without worry.
