Our Story

We were originally started by Robert "Bob" Smith in Corvallis, Oregon in 1977. Bob successfully owned and operated the company until 2007 when he retired. After working for Bob in 1992 and with 15 years of employment, Tim Hamblin purchased the company. Today, R.G. Smith has grown to over 20 electricians, plumbers, and support staff, with two locations. Our sister company, Junction City Electric & Plumbing, is available to assist you in Junction City and surrounding areas.
