New Hope Development Center

New Hope Development Center, Inc. (NHDCI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality educational programs and services to children in grades K-12. Our mission is to foster self-sufficiency for families through economic empowerment and delivering human and social services to improve the quality of life for residents in the community.

At NHDCI, we believe that literacy is the foundation of academic success, and therefore, we offer both an After-School Program and a Summer Camp that are designed to promote literacy skills. Our programs are designed by certified teachers with Masters' Degrees in Education and are delivered using a combination of traditional and technological methodologies.

Our After-School Program provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to engage in academic activities, recreation, and socialization. Our Summer Camp, also known as KidZone!, is a fun and educational experience that takes place every summer. Both programs are designed to support the WHOLE CHILD by providing life-skills training, promoting self-sufficiency, and fostering self-esteem.

Meet Our CEO

Bishop Randall E. Holts is the Senior Pastor of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Miami and the Chief Administrator responsible for administering the spiritual and temporal affairs of the church. Under his leadership, the church has grown tremendously in the Miami area. Bishop Holts is an anointed Man of God who has effectively guided his congregation to take control of their destiny through the powerful teaching and anointed preaching of the Word of God.

Before becoming a full-time pastor, Bishop Holts had a successful 21-year career in banking, serving in various leadership capacities. He was consecrated as a Bishop on November 10, 2006, by the Kingdom Dominion International Network under the leadership of Presiding Bishop Harold Calvin Ray. Bishop Holts is married to Prophetess Sharlene Denise Holts and has three wonderful children and five grandsons.

Our team is comprised of dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality educational programs and services to children in our community. Our team members are experts in their fields and have a deep understanding of the needs of children and families.

Shelia Starks Dudley

Shelia holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management & Labor Relations and a Master's Degree in Business Administration. She has 8 years of experience in education and has worked as an Associate Superintendent in Broward County Schools and a Human Resources Officer in Baltimore City Public Schools. Shelia is currently the Program Manager for the New Hope Development Center's After-School Program.

Chenetta Davis

Chenetta has worked at New Hope Development Center as a teacher and office assistant for over 3 years. She attended Dade County Public Schools and has dedicated over 23 years to Miami-Dade Public Schools. In her free time, Chenetta enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and dancing.

Norresha Toomer

Norresha has over 10 years of experience working with children and has been working at New Hope Development Center for the last 10 years. She holds a passion for working with kids and believes they are a gift from God. In her free time, Norresha enjoys watching sports, particularly football and track and field.
