Our History
Elliott Law Firm was founded in 2004 by Shannon Elliott. Shannon had previously taken a year off to focus on her family, but she soon found herself drawn back to the legal profession. Initially, her practice was intended to be part-time, allowing her to balance her work and family life. However, the demand for her services soon grew, and she found herself expanding her practice into a full-time business. Over the years, Shannon was fortunate to hire talented employees, many of whom remain with the firm to this day. In 2011, John Elliott joined the firm, followed by the opening of the Madison office in 2018. Both Shannon and John have been recognized as "Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers magazine, an honor bestowed upon fewer than 2.5% of lawyers in Mississippi.
