Fringe Hair Studio, located in the heart of historic Georgetown, Washington D.C., has been providing exceptional cuts, colors, and styles since 2007. Our founder, Essam Chalf, has been a staple in the Georgetown salon scene for nearly two decades, and created Fringe with the mission of offering a uniquely casual, friendly salon experience. We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere and our ability to help every client achieve their best look.

Our Services

At Fringe Hair Studio, we offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the needs of each individual client. Our services include:

• Haircuts: Our haircut prices are based on the length, texture, and thickness of the hair, not gender. Prices start at $45 for short/clipper cuts, $55 for short pixies, $65 for long pixies, $70 for mid-length styles (bob to shoulders), and $75 for long styles (below the shoulders).

• Color: We offer a variety of color services to suit every client's needs. Prices for one process color start at $95 and do not include a cut or style. Root retouches start at $75. For those looking for a more dimensional look, we offer partial highlights starting at $125 and full highlights starting at $150. For a more natural, sun-kissed look, we offer balayage highlights for $300. We also offer color correction services, please call for a consultation and pricing.

• Additional Services: We also offer a variety of additional services such as deep conditioning treatments, blowouts, and updos.

Booking an Appointment

To schedule an appointment, please use our online booking system or call us at (202)333-3336. We are currently not accepting credit cards and only processing payments through Venmo/Zelle, cash or check. Please note, due to an increase in no-shows and last minute cancellations, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If an appointment is not cancelled with a 24-hour notice, the client will be required to pay for the appointment in full before they are able to schedule again. We understand this may seem harsh but the increase in missed appointments is causing thousands of dollars in lost income, which is detrimental to a small business like Fringe. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

We are located in the heart of historic Georgetown at the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and P Street, N.W. The studio is on the second floor of the building quietly away from the hustle and bustle happening downstairs.
