Our Story

At Eye Q Eyewear, we are a true family business, with generations of experience in the optical industry. Our founder, Jeffrey Frumkin, began his journey in the industry in the 1960s, working alongside his father in an optical laboratory. After college, he transitioned to the retail side of the business and was a pioneer in the development of the eyewear superstore concept.

In 1993, Jeffrey co-founded Eye Q Eyewear, marking the beginning of our journey towards becoming a premier eyewear supplier. In 2013, his sons, Jackie and Zach, joined the business, solidifying Eye Q's position as a true family business, blending proven success with innovative business models.

Today, we are proud to operate our headquarters and distribution center in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida.
