Welcome to GCS Inc., where we've been dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction for over 50 years. Our story began in 1962 when Gerald Chambers, our founder, formed a partnership with Billy Watkins in Benton, Kentucky. They started doing site work and clearing for farmers, eventually growing to secure contracts for state highways, schools, and even a steel mill. Today, we're proud to have a team with over 150 years of combined experience, serving over 500 happy customers.

Our History

Gerald Chambers moved from state to state in the south with his family growing up, following in his father's footsteps in the construction trade. After forming Chambers and Watkins Construction in 1962, he continued to grow the business, adding new equipment and securing larger contracts. In 1975, the company incorporated and changed its name to Gerald Chambers & Sons, with Gerald's wife Pam and their sons Brien, Scott, and Mark playing key roles. Today, we continue to build on this legacy, focusing on customer satisfaction and quality in all we do.
