J.W. Shaffer Electric, founded by John W. Shaffer III, is a family-run business that has been serving Southern Arizona since 1986. With over three decades of experience in the construction and electrical contracting industry, we have established ourselves as a reliable and skilled provider of top-quality electrical services.

Our founder, John W. Shaffer III, moved to Tucson in 1962, where his father, John W. Shaffer II, later became a General Building Inspector for the City of Tucson for 20 years. This early exposure to the construction industry led John Shaffer III to obtain his Commercial and Residential General Contracting Licenses in 1984, followed by his Commercial and Residential Electrical Licenses in 1986.

As a third-generation construction and contracting business, we have built strong relationships with well-known builders and contractors in Southern Arizona, including Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes, Meritage Homes, and Canyon Ranch. We have successfully provided competitive bids for projects spanning over four counties.
