At the Chiropractic Fellowship of Pennsylvania (CFoP), we believe in the power of chiropractic care to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals. Since our establishment in June 1967, we have been dedicated to protecting the rights of principled chiropractors in Pennsylvania. Our members are united by a shared belief in the importance of providing chiropractic care for the correction of vertebral subluxation.
We stand firm on the belief that everyone should have access to chiropractic care, regardless of their financial situation or insurance coverage. We are committed to supporting and empowering chiropractors to provide high-quality care to their patients. We also strive to educate the public about the benefits of chiropractic care and to promote the profession as a whole.
Our members have diverse practices, including cash-based and insurance-based models, as well as different adjusting techniques. However, we are united by our commitment to providing principled chiropractic care. We believe in the importance of maintaining the integrity of our profession and protecting the rights of chiropractors to practice without unnecessary interference from third parties.
Mission and Vision Statements
Our mission is to preserve and protect the rights of chiropractors to practice as a principled, subluxation-centered healthcare provider. We believe in the importance of maintaining the art, science, and philosophy that defines and separates us from other healthcare professionals. Our vision is to support and supply tools and resources to build a thriving, innate subluxation practice for our members.
Principles
We are committed to the following principles:
1. We are privileged to be a portal of entry family healthcare practitioners, which allows the public to utilize our services without third-party authorization.
2. We have the right to x-ray if needed for the assessment, correction, and management of subluxation.
3. We have the right and consider it our responsibility to adjust patients without a medical diagnosis.
4. We believe that patients should have the choice to access chiropractic care solely for the correction of vertebral subluxation.
5. We are dedicated to protecting the ability of chiropractors to practice using their own procedures and techniques.
6. We believe in the importance of family care and family plans.
7. We advocate for fair and equitable insurance reimbursement for chiropractic services.
