Marker 39 Floribbean cuisine is a unique dining experience that combines the flavors of the Caribbean, Cuba, and Latin America with modern Florida fusion cuisine. Our restaurant is set in an old Florida atmosphere, offering an innovative selection of food, wine, and craft beers that are sure to satisfy your taste buds.

At Marker 39, we are passionate about using local, market-fresh ingredients and honest cooking techniques to create dishes that are both delicious and visually stunning. Our menu features a creative selection of dishes, all made in-house by our team of talented chefs, led by Executive Chef Justin Murphy. Chef Justin is extremely passionate about great food and has honed his skills at some of the finest restaurants in South Florida. His vision of modern Florida and Latino-Floribbean cuisine is reflected in every dish that comes out of our kitchen.

Our Menu

Our menu highlights bold textures and dramatic flavors that are sure to please. We offer a variety of dishes that are enhanced with all-natural, organic, and sustainably produced proteins, locally sourced sustainable seafood, the freshest seasonal and local produce, as well as fresh herbs, oils, and spices. From re-imagined American classics to vegetarian options, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Our restaurant is located one block off of Main street in historic downtown Safety Harbor, FL, and has become a favorite in the growing Safety Harbor restaurant scene. We are conveniently located within minutes of Ruth Eckerd Hall and walking distance from Safety Harbor Spa, making us the perfect location for a pre-show dinner.

Dining Experience

At Marker 39, we offer both indoor and outdoor patio dining, Key West style, amidst canopies of tropical foliage under the sail shades and majestic oaks of our outdoor deck. Our bistro dining room and classic Florida style wine bar are adorned with improvised, locally inspired art and nautical decor, providing the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine or craft beer.

Our current restaurant operating hours for dine-in and take-out are Wednesday through Sunday, with brunch offered on Sundays from 11am-2:30pm. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Meet Chef Justin Murphy

Chef Justin Murphy is the driving force behind Marker 39's ingredient-driven, seasonal menus. He is extremely passionate about great food, wine, family, and life in general and has honed his skills at some of the finest restaurants in South Florida. Chef Justin's vision of modern Florida and Latino-Floribbean cuisine blends Cuban, Puerto Rican, Columbian, Jamaican, Bahamian, and American Deep South & Gulf Coast cuisines. His menus are enhanced with all-natural, organic, and sustainably produced proteins, locally sourced sustainable seafood, the freshest seasonal and local produce, as well as fresh herbs, oils, and spices.

Chef Justin is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University's North Miami campus and has apprenticed with several nationally known chefs, including Robin Haas, Michael Schwartz, Marc Ehrler, Chef Allen Susser, Jose Andres, and Norman Van Aken. His dedication to his craft is evident in every dish that comes out of our kitchen.
