PK Associates is a leading structural engineering firm that has been in operation since 1992. Our History and Values

Our history dates back to 1992 when we were founded by two seasoned engineers, Clifford Paul and Jack Koehler. Since then, we have built a solid reputation for providing superior structural engineering services to our clients. We are registered in 49 states, and we are actively working towards obtaining registration in all 50 states.

Our values are centered around our commitment to providing efficient designs and innovative solutions to our clients. We believe in going above and beyond to provide our clients with more than what is expected. We also believe in early involvement in the project design process, which allows us to recommend and improve structural engineering design efficiency through structural systems and other cost-saving measures.

In 2010, we developed a Native American Partnership known as Pimara Paul Koehler. PPK is a structural engineering firm owned by an enrolled member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and uses the combined structural engineering experience of PKA to develop projects.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of structural engineering services, including initial structural narratives, which provide accurate and complete scope understanding early in the design process. This allows owners to predict cost and maintain development budgets. Our team also encourages the inclusion of more architectural features in the build process.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by our principals, Clifford Paul and Jack Koehler, who have hundreds of years of combined experience in the field. Clifford is a teacher at heart and loves to share his knowledge with students at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona, as well as industry professionals. Jack has developed lasting industry relationships within the A/E/C Community and takes pride in driving construction costs down through the use of alternative structural systems and cost-effective applications.
