Prior to establishing his own firm, he was a senior partner in a large, multi-national law firm, where he primarily represented corporations and insurers. In 1995, he decided to leave this partnership to establish his own firm, with the goal of representing individuals, families, and small businesses. Since then, he has built a highly successful wealth preservation and business succession practice, representing both affluent families and those of moderate incomes.

Aidan Jones brings a unique breadth of expertise and innovation from both large and small firms to his practice. He advises on and prepares estate plans that can include wills; revocable and irrevocable charitable, insurance, special needs, discretionary, and educational trusts; financial and health care powers of attorney; living wills; and pre- and post-nuptial agreements. His broad experience enables him to provide innovative problem-solving across legal disciplines to clients. He practices in the traditional manner of the English Inns of Court, sharing space with attorneys in complementary areas of law, while partnering on specific matters with attorneys of other expertise, as needed.
