Welcome to Tir Na Nog Childcare, where we believe that every child deserves a magical and educational experience that transcends traditional boundaries. Inspired by the Irish tale of "The Land of the Young, " we strive to create an environment that mirrors this beautiful, whimsical place where everyone is young, happy, and never grows old. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere that fosters growth, creativity, and learning among our children.

Our History

Tir Na Nog Childcare first opened its doors in 2003, transforming an old warehouse into a vibrant and welcoming space for children. After 19 wonderful years, we embarked on a new adventure, creating a brand-new home for Tir Na Nog in August 2022. This new facility continues to offer a home-away-from-home experience for our families while providing state-of-the-art facilities and resources for our children.

Our Philosophy

We are committed to the Reggio Emilia approach, which emphasizes child-led learning and exploration. Our teachers are certified through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, and we are licensed by the same department. We prioritize communication with our families through various channels, including face-to-face discussions, daily phone calls, online communication, and private Facebook groups for each classroom.

Our Services

At Tir Na Nog Childcare, we offer a wide range of services tailored to meet the needs of children between the ages of 8 weeks and 6 years old. Our facility is open five days a week from 7 am to 6 pm, with an early pickup option available at 3:30 pm. We have six classrooms, each designed to cater to different age groups and developmental stages.

Our younger infant room accommodates up to five infants daily, while our older infant room can handle up to six infants. For toddlers, we have two classrooms: the younger toddlers, ranging from 15 months to 2 years old with up to nine children daily, and the older toddlers, also with up to nine children.

In addition to our regular childcare services, we offer various events and community service activities throughout the year. These include apple picking in the fall, Halloween costume parties, St. Patrick's Day celebrations, July 4th Red, White, and Blue Parade, Pre-K Mother's Day Tea, Father's Day afternoon snack, and a graduation ceremony for our Pre-K students moving on to Kindergarten.
