Founder's Profile

Bryan Mulligan, AIA, the founder of Studio47 Architects, began his career in the late 1980s with a part-time internship in Orange County, California. He went on to study rigorous architectural studies, including European studies, and holds degrees from Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, CA, and Syracuse University. After settling in Boston, Bryan built a solid architectural career with several Boston architectural firms. He has served as a thesis advisor to architectural graduate students at the Boston Architectural College and joined Team Boston for the 2009 Solar Decathlon as a professional design and construction consultant. In 2012, Bryan launched Studio47 Architects after 16 years in the corporate environment. He sat on the zoning advisory board for the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation in 2014, which went on to re-write zoning bylaws to attract developers and economic growth to Marlborough, Massachusetts.
