Our firm, licensed as a Type 2 firm, has been at the forefront of designing innovative, functional, and sustainable buildings that have redefined Portland's skyline. Our team consists of highly skilled, passionate, and experienced architects who are committed to delivering outstanding projects that meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

Our firm was founded in 1982 by Steve Fosler, a licensed architect with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia. Steve's extensive experience spans over 50 years, having worked with notable firms such as Stradling & Steward Architects and Evenson/Ludgren/Larson/Monaghan Architects. His original background in Physics gives him a unique perspective on problem-solving and design that continues to inspire our team's work today.

Our team's diversity in experiences and skills has helped us foster a culture of creativity and innovation. We have a dedicated Senior Associate and Lead Designer, Andy Borgerding, who graduated from Portland State University with both his Undergraduate and Master's degrees in Architecture. Andy's expertise in Portland architecture has allowed us to serve our clients with deft knowledge of the city's character and potential.

In 2022, we were fortunate to have Angelo Bologna, a recent Portland State University graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Sustainability, join our firm. Angelo's experience using Revit software has substantially strengthened our drafting and modeling capabilities. His strong communication skills and ability to conceptualize space have added immense value to our projects.
