ICL Architecture is a full-service architecture practice established in 1984. In our thirty-year history, we have provided the highest quality of service to over 150 clients with varying space and program requirements. Our range of expertise, combined with the depth of our resources, enables us to handle any size commission, from a simple bench to a high-rise building. We take a partnership approach to solving each architectural design challenge, working side by side with our clients to thoroughly understand how the architecture may contribute to their goals. With in-house interior designers and engineers, we offer a unique, efficient, and coordinated design.

Our services include Architecture, Space Programming and Planning, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Sustainable Design, and Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Engineering. We are qualified professionals registered in over twenty states, Chicago Department of Buildings Self-Certified Professionals, Chicago Department of Buildings Registered Energy Professionals, and LEED Accredited Professionals.
Leadership
Our President, Mo Riahi, founded ICL Architecture in 1984. He is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois and a 1981 graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mo's main thrust as President has been to develop ways of providing cost-effective professional services to clients while maintaining quality. He is also the founder of ECL Engineering Consultants, offering full engineering services in addition to architectural services.
Meet Our Team
We have a team of experienced professionals, including Brian Early, P.E., LEED AP, who oversees all engineering projects from the design stage through construction administration. David L. Fleener, Architect, founded David Fleener Architects, Inc. in 2000 with a focus on sustainable design. His extensive experience includes single and multi-family residential, health care, hospitality, retail, commercial office, and historic preservation projects.
