The Preschool At Discovery

At The Preschool Group, our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and men. We believe that every child is a unique gift from God, created in His image, and deserving of love, care, and education. Our philosophy is based on the biblical principle that "Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52).

Our Approach to Early Childhood Education

We believe that early childhood education should be a partnership between families, educators, and children. Our programs are designed to foster a love for learning, spiritual growth, and social-emotional development. We use a developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) approach, which emphasizes the importance of teaching to the whole child, including physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. We also incorporate biblical principles and values into our curriculum, recognizing that faith is an integral part of a child's overall development.

Our Programs

Our Philosophy in Practice

At The Preschool Group, we understand that biting is a normal part of some children's development. However, we also believe that biting is an ineffective way to gain attention and can cause harm to others. As such, we have implemented a biting policy that aims to prevent biting and redirect children to alternative behaviors.
