Wilson Funeral Home, established in 1970, has been serving the Monticello community and its surrounding areas with unwavering dedication and compassion for generations. Founded by Homer B. "Buster" and Modena Wilson, the funeral home was built on the core values of family, integrity, and personalized care. For 28 years, the Wilsons provided unwavering support to grieving families, treating each individual with the utmost respect and understanding. Their commitment to serving the community with empathy and professionalism established a legacy that continues to this day.

In 1998, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson gracefully retired, passing the torch to John and Charlotte Pierce, who carried forward their mission of providing compassionate and affordable funeral services. This transition marked a new chapter for Wilson Funeral Home, ensuring its continued presence and service to the community. Notably, Sandra Wilson Lambert, daughter of the founders, now manages the funeral home, keeping the Wilson family name synonymous with quality service and unwavering support during difficult times.
