Who We Are

Child Development & Learning Center (CDLC) is a Christ-centered preschool based on the grounds of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville, Minnesota. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn, explore, and grow. We believe that every child is a unique gift from God, and we strive to celebrate their individual strengths while fostering their spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Our Staff

Our team of experienced and passionate educators are dedicated to providing quality early childhood education. Each teacher is certified by the state of Minnesota and has undergone extensive training in child development and curriculum development. Our staff is passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment where children can feel safe, valued, and empowered to discover their full potential.

Our Programs

CDLC offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of different families. We offer both half-day and all-day programs, as well as options for 2, 3, and 5 days per week. Our curriculum follows a child-centered approach, focusing on play-based learning and exploration. We prioritize fostering creativity, critical thinking, and social skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Learning Experiences

At CDLC, children are exposed to a variety of enriching experiences that promote their development in all areas. Some of our offerings include:

• Cooking: Learning basic culinary skills and exploring mathematical and scientific concepts.
• Music & Movement: Engaging in musical activities and rhythmic play to develop creativity and gross motor skills.
• Creative Arts: Exploring art materials and engaging in dramatic play to foster imagination and self-expression.
• Science Exploration: Conducting experiments and engaging in hands-on discovery activities to promote curiosity and a love of learning.
