Empowering You to Reach Your Full Potential
At Jenna Griffith Counseling, we specialize in providing mindful strategies for emotional health to adult individuals in North Lake Tahoe. As a licensed professional counselor, I, Jenna Griffith, have been serving individuals in Denver and Northern California since 2015. My passion lies in utilizing mindfulness-based approaches to help clients overcome anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
About My Practice
As a mindfulness-based therapist, I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment-Based Therapy (ACT), Somatic (body-based) Therapy, Mindfulness, and guided meditation, Breathing Practices, and Yoga Psychology into my sessions. My work is influenced by the latest in neuroscience, allowing me to help clients rewire their brain and form healthy habits. Through our work together, you'll gain practical tools for managing stress and anxiety, while improving your relationships with others. You'll discover more clarity, calm, and confidence, and feel more balanced and centered in the face of challenges.
My Story
My path to becoming a counselor was not linear, but it has led me to where I am today. After struggling with my own anxiety and depression, I took a deep dive into finding holistic ways to bring my mind and body back into balance. I discovered the transformative power of yoga, movement, and meditation, which truly changed me. I have since completed certifications in Yoga, Reiki, Wellness Coaching, Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Rapid Resolution Therapy for Trauma. For me, the common thread between all these practices is mindfulness.
What to Expect
In our sessions, we'll work together to identify the areas where you feel stuck and develop a personalized plan to help you move forward. Through mindfulness practices, you'll learn how to interrupt the feedback loops that are keeping you stuck and rewire your brain to form healthy habits. You'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop the tools you need to navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity.
