Our Story

Our chef and owner, Bruno Silva, honed his craft and creativity in and around Washington, DC, before bringing his modern American cuisine with a touch of Peruvian flair to Smith Mountain Lake. Together with his wife Tiffany, they purchased The Landing Restaurant in 2004 and set out to create a dining experience that would exceed expectations. Today, in our beautiful new location, our vision is clearer than ever. We're committed to providing the most exceptional, elegant, relaxed, and rewarding dining experience you'll find anywhere on or near the lake.

The Landing Love Project

At The Landing, we believe that serving others is love at its very best. When the pandemic hit, we knew we had to do something to support our community. That's why we created The Landing Love Project, a initiative dedicated to supporting, feeding, and showing love for at-risk families and seniors. Through this project, we're committed to making a difference in our community, one meal at a time.
