At Island Structures Engineering, P.C., we are a New York-based, licensed engineering and consulting firm with extensive experience in the fields of civil and structural engineering, architecture, project management, and construction management. Our History

Island Structures Engineering was founded by William R. Schlumpf in the early 1980s with the goal of servicing the commercial and industrial sector. Over the years, we have grown to encompass the practice of civil and structural engineering, architecture, and the project and construction management of municipal projects and similar facilities. Today, our firm consists of design professionals licensed in multiple states, as well as a detail-oriented design/support staff.

Our Capabilities

Our office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including AutoCAD 2018 and additional programs such as STAAD Pro for the design of complicated structures. We also have in-house wide format plotting and printing capabilities. Our licensed engineers and architects are involved with professional affiliations such as The National Society of Professional Engineers, The American Society of Civil Engineers, The American Institute of Architects, The Colegio de Ingenieros y Agrimensores de Puerto Rico, and The National Fire Protection Association.
