Building Sustainable Futures through Collaborative Design
SETO Architects is an architectural design firm located in the historic Mount Vernon district in Baltimore City, Maryland. We are certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation as an architectural MBE/DBE company since 2009. Our firm is comprised of a dedicated team of professionals who bring technical expertise, versatility, and strong design skills to all our projects. We believe in creating a better living environment for our future and strive to create a better space for all our projects through sustainable design. This approach applies to projects of any scale, from interior renovations to master plans for the entire community.
Inside our firm, we operate in an open studio and encourage open discussion of projects, community involvement, continuing education, collaboration, and the free flow of architectural ideas. As a boutique design firm in Baltimore City, we stand out among our peers with our proven ability to execute projects regardless of size and complexity. Whether it's a residential project working directly with homeowners or a commercial project working with owner's representatives, engineering consultants, and contractors, we deliver sustainable, quality design and service that meets every budget.
Our founder, H. Justin Seto, has over 19 years of experience in the field of architecture. He has played an instrumental role in the creation and delivery of multidisciplinary design solutions. Since founding the company in 2003, Mr. Seto has led the design direction and managed projects from concept design through construction administration. He has a broad range of experience in high-rise office buildings, medical laboratories, commercial interior design, large-scale residential projects, academic facilities, historic building adaptive re-use, and government projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mr. Seto is a registered Architect in the State of Maryland, New York, and Washington DC. He is also a LEED professional and a strong supporter of Green Building Design. He has successfully integrated design excellence, sustainability, and functional requirements in creating interior spaces and buildings that respond to these influences. From 2001-2003, Mr. Seto served as an adjunct instructor in the Architecture Department at Anne Arundel Community College and has guest critiqued at several local universities' Architectural School.
