Our Curriculum

At Su's Creative Corner Preschool, we believe that learning should be a joyous and interactive experience. Our curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs of each child, regardless of age or ability. We offer a range of programs, including Infant, Toddlers, Preschool, VPK, and Kindergarten.

Our programs are carefully designed to provide a balance of age-appropriate activities, games, and hands-on learning experiences that cater to the individual needs of each child. Our curriculum is informed by the latest research in early childhood education, and our educators are trained to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.

Toddlers & PreK-2 Curriculum

Our Toddlers & PreK-2 program is based on the HighReach Learning curriculum, which is grounded in sound child development theory and practices. This approach recognizes the unique needs and abilities of young children, and provides a rich learning environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and creativity.

Our curriculum is designed to introduce children to a range of skills and concepts, including vocabulary, colors, and social-emotional development. Our educators work closely with parents to ensure that each child's unique needs are met, and provide regular updates on a child's progress through daily reports, developmental screenings, and progress reports.

PreK-3 to PreK-5 (VPK) Curriculum

Our PreK-3 to PreK-5 (VPK) program is based on the Houghton Mifflin science-based curriculum, which aligns with key critical learning goals. Our comprehensive program provides children with the foundational skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners, and gives educators the tools they need to ensure success.

Our curriculum covers a range of areas, including reading and literature, literacy extensions, phonological awareness, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, music, writing, and more. We administer assessments to evaluate children's growth and academic development, and provide regular progress reports to parents.

Programs and Activities

At Su's Creative Corner Preschool, we offer a range of programs and activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child. Our programs include:

• Infant care: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Toddlers & PreK-4: 7:00am-6:00pm
• VPK: 7:00am-6:00pm
• Kindergarten: 8:30am-1:50pm
• Tutoring: M-F, TBA

We also offer a range of extracurricular activities, including holiday celebrations, birthday parties, school performances, and special guest appearances. Our goal is to create a fun and engaging environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging among our students, parents, and educators.
