Our Story

Fortress Fence was established in 1996 by seasoned fence installation contractors Mike Grzybowski and Keith Kobus. Their combined decade-plus of experience in the field fueled a vision: to create a fence company dedicated to providing the highest quality service in northeastern Wisconsin, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects. Operating out of Green Bay, the founders built a strong reputation for excellence, consistently delivering exceptional results to general contractors throughout the region.

In 2002, Fortress Fence solidified its position in the market by partnering with Century Fence Company. This strategic alliance allowed Fortress Fence to leverage Century's vast operational expertise and infrastructure. Century Fence provided invaluable support in areas like bookkeeping, purchasing, and administration, freeing Mike and Keith to focus on what they did best: ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering top-notch fence installations.
