Our projects have received over 40 design awards, a testament to our commitment to excellence.

Notable Projects

One of our notable projects is the Spring Lake Park Visitors Center in Santa Rosa, California. This project involved designing a building that facilitates learning about nature and exemplifies a sympathetic relationship to the environment. The building is situated on the northwest slope of an ancient lava flow, overlooking Spring Lake, and features a welcoming circle of boulders, a grotto-like storyteller's cavern, and an amphitheater. The design aims to minimize the impact on the forest's character while promoting a connection with nature.

Expertise

Our team brings a wealth of expertise in architecture and design. Our lead architect, Obie, has a legacy of site-responsive buildings and continues to work with the landscape, bringing insight into the work of our studio. He has received numerous awards and was inducted into the College of Fellows in the American Institute of Architects in 2008.
