At IDEA Childcare, our mission is to provide a high-quality childcare service that promotes the growth and development of young children. We believe that every child is unique and special, and we strive to treat each child with love, care, and respect. Our vision is to create a nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and stimulating environment.

Our Programs

Our programs are designed to cater to the unique needs of each child, from infants to preschoolers. Our well-rounded program includes:

• Hot, home-prepared meals
• Snacks
• Singing, musical instruments, and various forms of dance and exercise (yoga!)
• Book reading and storytelling
• Outdoor play in a magical playground
• Potty training
• Preschool education: alphabet, counting, spelling, and reading, tailored to each child's developmental needs

Daily Routine

Our daily routine is designed to ensure that each child receives the attention and care they need. Our daily schedule includes:

• 7:30 am: Greeting and free play
• 9:00 am: Breakfast and infant nap time
• 9:15 am: Diaper change and potty training
• 9:30 am: Circle time, which includes music and movement, curriculum, and reading books
• 10:00 am: Outdoor play
• 10:30 am: Water and snack time, diaper check, and potty training
• 11:00 am: Outdoor story time and free book reading
• 11:30 am: Go back inside for hand washing and potty training
• 11:45 am: Lunchtime
• 12:15 pm: Book reading at naptime
• 12:30 pm: Nap/Rest time for all children
• 3:00 pm: Diaper change and potty training
• 3:30 pm: Afternoon snack time, outdoor free play, and exploration
• 4:15 pm: Outdoor story time and free choice of book reading
• 4:30-5:30 pm: Parent pick-up time, children depart

Menu Plan

At IDEA Childcare, we believe that mealtime is an essential part of a child's day. Our menu plan includes hot, home-prepared meals and snacks, carefully prepared by our qualified chef.

Hours of Operation

Our hours of operation are as follows:

• Full-time: from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Part-time: from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
• Half-day (morning): from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
• Half-day (afternoon): from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm

History

Our director, Shally Lwin, is a certified private preschool teacher with extensive training and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She is passionate about providing a nurturing environment that encourages children to grow and thrive.
