Our Story

At First United Methodist Cooperative Nursery (FUMCN), we believe that every child is a unique and precious individual, deserving of love, care, and respect. Our Reggio-inspired preschool is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters a love of learning, creativity, and exploration. As a cooperative nursery, we are committed to building strong relationships with our families, teachers, and community partners to create a supportive and stimulating environment for our children to grow and thrive.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support and nurture the children of FUMCN, as well as their parents/guardians and staff. We strive to develop lifelong learners who possess a spirit of curiosity, perseverance, and humility, and to create a profound sense of community that lasts beyond the preschool years.

Our Services

At FUMCN, we offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our families. Our flexible programming includes:

• Morning and afternoon classes for 3-5 year olds (Preschool)
• Morning classes for 2 year olds (Twos)
• A parent playgroup for children 18 months to 3 years (Parent Playgroup)
• Sibling Care, a discounted service for siblings of children in FUMCN classes

Each service is priced separately, but all are under the FUMCN umbrella. We pride ourselves on our distinctive benefits, including our Great Start to Quality Star-Rated Center, multi-age classes, experienced teaching team, and flexible scheduling options.
