We don't teach Spanish, we teach in Spanish
At Uno Dos Tres Spanish Immersion Preschool, we believe that total immersion is the best way to learn another language. Our unique approach to education focuses on teaching in Spanish, rather than just teaching about Spanish. Our mission is to offer children a fun and unforgettable learning experience that fosters their physical, social, emotional, linguistic, and cognitive development in Spanish.
Our Philosophy
We encourage children to be explorers, creators, problem solvers, thinkers, and communicators, and to ask questions about the world around them. Our thematic curriculum provides a foundation upon which children can learn new concepts, build ideas, and develop their creativity, all while being immersed in the Spanish language.
Our Programs
At Uno Dos Tres, we offer a range of programs for children aged 12 months to 5 years. Our programs are designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Our programs include:
- Toddlers: 12 months to 3 years
- Preschool: 3 years to 4 years
- Pre-K: 4 years to 5 years
What Our Families Say
We are proud of our strong reputation and the many positive recommendations from families who have experienced our unique approach to Spanish immersion education. Some of our parent testimonials include:
- "We have been part of the Uno Dos Tres family for close to 4 years, and I have been so pleased with this school including the management and teachers. My daughters not only ended their time at UDT understanding and speaking Spanish, but also with a love for learning, creativity, social skills, and discipline. Thank you UDT :)" - Heather B. Vance
- "We only wish our daughter could stay longer! The school is great, the teachers are kind, the other families are friendly, and the school is good about communicating things like class sicknesses, power outages, etc. This past summer, our daughter was able to communicate with the teachers and other students in an essentially Spanish-only summer camp in Spain, so the immersion is effective, too." - Brian Sadek
- "We love Uno Dos Tres and they have gone above and beyond to keep our kids healthy and safe through the pandemic!" - Alyson Derry
- "Having moved to Ann Arbor from out of state last year, we faced the normal challenges of finding daycare availability. After a couple of mediocre months at a very corporate daycare, finally a spot became available for our then-18-month-old at Uno Dos Tres, and the experience has been consistently and exceptionally high. From Tanara (the Director's) professionalism to the energy and enthusiasm of all the teachers, our daughter has adored every day at Uno Dos Tres. A very safe, caring environment, where I only ever see smiles from the kids and teachers alike." - Joe O'Hara
