About Our Owner: Hannah Kirkland

I've been in this business for more than 40 years, previously under the name of Home Decor and Alterations by Hannah, where I worked from my home studio. My passion for fabrics and sewing led me to open my own store with a unique twist where I am able to offer many diverse services under one roof. In 1996 then moved to a commercial site under the name Sew-Unique on 1604 and Blanco, for 4yrs then move to the HEB shopping center on 281 and Evans Road under the name Hannah's Custom Boutique and was there until January 2023 at which time I moved back to my home studio. I was featured on San Antonio Living in 2009. I have worked with numerous talented designers, including Interiors by Betty Ann Prybyloski, Stower's Furniture Company, Ethan Allen Designers, and Lisa Hanson from The Ways for Windows and Walls.
