At Deer Creek Herbs, we're dedicated to growing and providing high-quality, fresh, and dried herbs for teas and infusions. Our farm, nestled in the foothills of New York's Catskill Mountains, is more than just a place to grow herbs - it's a community committed to reciprocity between land and people. We host events, workshops, and retreats to bring people together and share our knowledge of herbalism.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2015, when the stewardship of the farmland transitioned after a decade of dormancy. With the help of our community, we've revitalized the landscape and infrastructure, transforming an abandoned chicken farm and farmhouse into a thriving homestead community. Today, our farm is supported by a handful of full-time residents, a rotation of part-time and seasonal volunteers, and our Hudson Valley and global communities.

Our Growing Practices

We take pride in our growing practices, which prioritize the long-term wellness of the land and the quality of our herbs. We never spray or till our beds, and all of our tending is done by hand. After a full season out in our sunny field, our herbs are immediately dried upon harvest in our custom drying shed to preserve the aromatic oils that make for a strikingly vibrant flavor. Our small-scale practices ensure that every cup of our herbs is a reflection of our dedication to quality and sustainability.

Our Herbs

We offer a wide selection of single herbs and tea blends, all carefully crafted to provide the perfect infusion for any occasion. From our refreshing Mint Leaf Digestive Tea to our soothing Relax and Restore blend, our herbs are designed to nourish body and soul. Our herbs are perfect for brewing hot or cold, and can be enjoyed on their own or mixed into refreshing drinks.
