Our History

Our funeral home was founded in 1948 by Nicholas J. Bush, and has been serving the community for over 74 years. In 1951, Nicholas J. Bush, along with his wife Pauline (Lucci) Bush, purchased the Italianate building at 218 West Court Street, where they extensively renovated it with the help of Pauline's father, Paul Lucci, an Italian cabinet maker. Nicholas P. Bush joined his father's business in 1984.

In March 2016, we relocated to our new location at 7751 Merrick Road, Rome, New York. Today, our state-of-the-art facility is handicap accessible, with spacious and comfortable viewing rooms, ample parking, and cutting-edge technology.
