Founded in 1927, Bracy Insurance has been serving the Southern Illinois region for over nine decades. Our story began when Floyd P. Bracy founded the independent insurance agency, Bracy-Woodley Insurance, with offices in Herrin and Marion, Illinois. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers.
Our History
In 1949, Bill Bracy joined his father in the agency, and in 1954, Jim Bracy followed in his brother's footsteps. In 1988, Deborra Bracy, Jim's daughter, purchased the agency, becoming the third generation to own and operate Bracy Insurance. Today, we continue to serve both personal and commercial customers in the Southern Illinois region.
