Diamond State Engineering is a leading full-service engineering and construction company with a rich history spanning over five decades. Our company was founded in 1969 and has since grown to become a trusted partner for a wide range of projects, from commercial properties to institutions and industrial complexes. Our History

Our story began in 1969 when we were originally incorporated. We started by providing Electrical and Mechanical Design & Engineering Services. As our expertise grew, so did our services. We expanded to include Structural Engineering, Architectural Design, and limited Construction Management services. In 1981, we merged with John McCune, AIA and Associates and re-incorporated as Diamond McCune, Inc., providing full A&E services from offices in Dover and Wilmington. After John McCune's retirement in 1989, we continued to provide A&E services as the Diamond Group, Inc.

In 1990, we consolidated our offices to Odessa, Delaware, which we designed and built. We merged with BM2OR in 2000 and relocated to Wilmington as Becker Morgan Group. As our consulting agreements with BMG concluded in 2003, we decided to reactivate the original firm, Diamond State Engineering, and once again offer our extensive Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, and Construction Services.
