For over 50 years, Newark Methodist Preschool has been providing a warm, nurturing, and play-based environment for children to explore, learn, and grow. At Newark Methodist Preschool, our primary goal is to encourage the development of the whole child in a positive and caring environment. Our Philosophy

Our preschool program is designed to serve as a transition from home to the community, helping children develop essential skills for future success. Our experienced and caring teachers plan carefully to meet each child's individual needs, fostering a sense of belonging and encouraging children to recognize their own special characteristics and abilities. We believe that children learn best through play and hands-on experiences, and our curriculum is designed to promote exploration, creativity, and discovery.

Our Staff

Our talented and dedicated staff members are passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education. Our team includes:

• Mandy Manzella, Preschool Director, who has a background in Early Childhood Education and Development, and has extensive experience in teaching and leading.
• Jill Hall, Administrative Assistant, who has a degree in Graphic Design and has spent years working in administrative roles, and is a proud parent and volunteer at NMP.
• Allie Suminski, Lead Teacher, who has a passion for interactive and experiential learning, and is dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for her students.
