Nestled in the beautiful mountains near Big Bear, Wasewagan is a breathtaking historical landmark surrounded by towering trees and the melodic sounds of the Santa Ana River. Owned and operated by the former executive director and staff of LAZY "J" RANCH CAMP, we offer a variety of services including Traditional Sleepaway Camps, Overnight Retreats for Scouts, Schools, and Youth Groups, and incredible Weddings. Our camp is designed to provide a "Little Bit of Heaven" for any group looking for a memorable experience.

Services Offered

Our facilities include a beautiful forest with grounds perfect for group retreats or traditional sleepaway camp adventures. We have a main Recreation Hall with a fireplace, table games, and an amazing atmosphere. Additionally, we have 13 separate cabins that can accommodate 2 to 22 guests, with a total capacity of 175 people. Our facilities also include a Seton Lodge, which is cozy with couches and an incredible fireplace, perfect for relaxation. For those looking for a more luxurious experience, we offer a VIP Cabin that can hold 6 guests with a full bathroom.

Activities and Accommodations

We offer a range of activities and accommodations to suit all needs. Our cabins range from small ones with 2 beds to larger ones that can hold up to 22 guests. We also have a pool-side cabin and several Whispering Pines Cabins that can accommodate up to 10 guests each. For larger groups, we have The Village Cabins that can hold up to 20 guests. Our facilities also include a Recreation Hall with 4 bedrooms that can hold 14 to 19 guests, along with a full bathroom. For those looking for a more private experience, we have H Cabin and Surf Shack that can accommodate up to 18 guests with 3 restrooms inside.

Directions

Due to cell service and multiple routes, your GPS may not be accurate. Please use our directions to ensure you have the best route to camp. From the San Fernando Valley and Ventura, take the 101 South to the 134 East to the 210 East. From Orange County, take the 405 North to the 10 East. From San Diego, take the 15 North to the 215 North. From Redlands, take the 10 East. Please drive slowly and steadily through the river, as it is not deep and there is no need to be afraid.
