Welcome to the Cornell Hotel Society (CHS), an engaged network of dynamic, imaginative leaders who are dedicated to sharing tradition, friendship, passions, and ideas. We believe that life is service, and we are inspired to create enriching experiences for others, celebrating what it means to be a Hotelie for Life.

As a member of the CHS, you will become part of a community that spans the globe, with over 50 active chapters and a network of over 20,000 Hotelies. Our members include alumni and affiliates of the Cornell School of Hotel Administration (SHA), and we are committed to supporting local chapters, scholarships, student initiatives, and our membership networking platform, The CHS Lobby.

The CHS Lobby

The CHS Lobby is the ultimate alumni networking tool, allowing you to make new connections or rekindle old ones. You can search for classmates and colleagues by name, location, company, and interests, and stay up-to-date with the latest Hotelie news. The CHS Lobby is your social network dedicated to graduates and affiliates of the Cornell Hotel School, keeping you connected with hotelies around the world.

The Cornell Hotelie Hall of Fame

Each year, we induct 10-12 Hotelies into the Cornell Hotelie Hall of Fame, an annual event held in conjunction with the CHS New York City Chapter's Annual Reception in November during the Hotel Show. This is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Hotelies who have made significant contributions to the hospitality industry.
