One doctor, one patient, the focus is you.

At Talbot Park Baptist Preschool and Daycare, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters their growth and development. Since 1984, we have been a ministry of Talbot Park Baptist Church, providing a loving learning environment for hundreds of children. As a non-profit organization, we are committed to providing high-quality early childhood education, while also giving back to the community.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1983, when Nelda Cardozo started the Talbot Park Mother's Day Out program, a volunteer-led program for the families of the church. As the program's popularity grew, we soon began meeting twice a week, and eventually, we transitioned into a preschool operating five days a week. Throughout the years, we have been blessed to have dedicated leaders who have guided us, including Sue Rigau and Kathleen Boyd, who served as co-directors, and Mrs. Dana Costas, who has been our director since 1997.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment that encourages children to explore, discover, and learn. We believe that every child deserves an education that is tailored to their unique needs and interests. Our curriculum is designed to support and stimulate the child's natural curiosity, interests, and abilities. We offer a wide range of programs for children from 6 weeks to Pre-K 4, and we provide a safe and stimulating environment for our students.

Our Values

At Talbot Park Baptist Preschool and Daycare, we value the importance of community, and we believe that every child deserves to be part of a loving and supportive community. We strive to foster a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals. We believe that learning can only be achieved in an environment that is built on mutual respect, guidance, and direction.

Our Services

We offer a variety of programs and services, including infant, toddler, preschool, and summer camp programs. Our curriculum includes play-based learning, social skills development, language development, literacy, science and nature, arts, and creativity. We also offer special events and activities throughout the year, including our annual Pumpkin Patch, which raises funds for playground upgrades, curriculum enhancement, and classroom improvements.

Giving Back

As a non-profit organization, we believe that every child deserves access to quality early childhood education, regardless of their background or circumstances. We are committed to giving back to the community through our outreach programs and partnerships with local organizations.

Get Involved
