Our History
Light Years Child Development Center, Inc. was founded in 2006 in the Berkeley Community of South Norfolk. Our journey began with a strong commitment to excellence, professionalism, and dedication to quality and standards. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include Before and After School Programs, catering to the needs of families who require support to balance work and family life.
Our Locations
We have two locations: 725 E. Liberty Street Norfolk, VA 23523 and 712 Liberty Street Chesapeake, VA 23324. Our centers are designed to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that promotes social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

We also have staff members who are currently pursuing further education in Early Childhood Development. Our staff are certified in CPR & First Aid and are committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that we remain at the forefront of best practices in Early Childhood Education.
