Little Tree Huggers Child Care is a nature-based child care center that has been serving families in the community with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Our center provides a warm and welcoming environment that is an excellent alternative to the many corporate franchise daycare centers that lack a personal touch. At Little Tree Huggers, we prioritize creating a homey atmosphere that promotes a sense of community and belonging.

Our center offers various programs tailored to meet the needs of different age groups. For instance, we have a young preschool program for children aged 18 months to 3 years, a 3-4 preschool, and a 4-5 Pre-K. We also offer an "All Day" program for 3-5-year-olds that aligns with a typical workday for parents. Our operating hours are from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We provide breakfast, snacks, and lunch, all of which feature organic meats, eggs, milk, fruits, and vegetables.

At Little Tree Huggers, we take pride in incorporating a healthy lifestyle into our curriculum. Our children engage in outdoor play daily, fostering a connection with nature and promoting physical activity. Additionally, we regularly invite children's yoga instructor Beverly, Beverly the Music Lady, and Dan the Creature Man, who provide enriching experiences for the children.

Additionally, we are pleased to offer a Summer Forest Camp program for children aged 5-11. This program provides a unique opportunity for children to connect with nature while engaging in enriching and fun activities. Contact us for more information on this exciting program!

We observe several holidays and breaks throughout the year. Our center will be closed on Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July Break, and Summer Break. We will also be closed on the first Saturday of each month from 5-10 pm, providing an opportunity for parents to enjoy a night out while their children participate in fun activities at the center, including crafts, a dance party, and dinner.
