Embrace Your Body's Potential with Proper Alignment and Movement
At Jen Fuller Fitness, our dedication to empowering individuals to live a healthier, more fulfilling life is at the heart of everything we do. With a background in physiology, biomechanics, and kinesiology, our founder, Jen Fuller, has spent years studying the intricate relationships between posture, alignment, and overall well-being.
Jen Fuller's Journey
Jen's fascination with the human body began after an accident left her father paraplegic. This experience sparked her curiosity about chronic pain and illness, leading her to pursue a degree in physiology and kinesiology from the University of Maine, Orono. Her undergraduate degree was followed by certification in Egoscue Exercise Therapy and a year-long program in Functional Medicine Coaching through Dr. Chris Kresser.
Jen's vast experienceincludes working with individuals from all walks of life, from those with significant disabilities (e.g., MS, Parkinson's, dementia) to professional athletes. Her passion for optimizing athletic performance and her expertise in postural alignment therapy, education, and motivation have made her a sought-after coach.
Our Services
At Jen Fuller Fitness, we offer a range of services designed to help individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. Our primary focus is on Stand Up Paddle (SUP) training, which includes one-on-one and group sessions, as well as equipment education. We also provide alignment classes, where we help clients understand the connection between degeneration and pain, and educate them on how to optimize their athletic performance.
SUP Training
Our SUP training program is designed to cater to beginners as well as intermediate and advanced paddlers. We emphasize the importance of establishing good habits and learning the basics of paddle stroke and board handling from the start. We also offer equipment education, as the type of board and paddle can greatly impact an individual's paddling efficiency and overall experience.
Our Approach
Our approach to training is centered around recognizing and addressing the body's compensatory patterns, which can lead to injury and degeneration over time. We take a holistic approach, combining education and motivation to help clients understand the impact of their postural alignment on their overall well-being and athletic performance.
