Meet Our Team

Tom Ethington, President

Tom began his career in the heating and cooling industry in 1974, working as a service and install technician. His extensive experience and expertise led him to become the service manager at Lennox Midwest Service department, where he oversaw the field and in-house service consultants. Tom's responsibilities included training the Lennox dealer network, assisting dealers with product issues, and communicating engineering changes with new product lines. In 1993, Tom founded Ethington Heating & Cooling, Inc. with a vision to provide premier installations, quality products, and exceptional service. As a fully licensed and bonded contractor, Tom guarantees all of his company's workmanship and ensures that his staff maintains all continuing education to remain current with their mechanical licenses.

Joel Ethington

Joel began working for Ethington Heating & Cooling, Inc. in 1997 while still in high school. His initial duties were cleaning and organizing the sheet metal shop, but his dedication to high-quality work quickly led him to take numerous training classes involving sheet metal layout, equipment installation, service, and system design. Joel takes great pride in his extensive knowledge of geothermal applications and believes strongly in honesty and quality. He requires all of his installations and services to be of premier quality, just like his father.
