Chuck and Jan Lynde, along with their son Mark, opened Lynde's Restaurant in 1981, starting off small with the intent to grow. In 1995, Chuck and Jan sold the company to Mark and kept the same standards, ensuring that the same staff remained on board. Mark and Cathy now own Lynde's Restaurant & Catering, along with Lynde Enterprises (snowplowing & lawncare), both based in Osseo. The key to their success lies in good, home-cooked meals. They serve approximately 600 people on a busy Sunday morning and cater about 1,200 events per year. Another crucial aspect is their loyal staff, who have been with them for many years. They are blessed with a very professional and hard-working team always willing to go the extra mile. Their chef, Larry, has been with Lynde's since 1995, cooking delicious meals, creating menus, and selecting daily specials for the restaurant, along with their great culinary team. Lexi Lynde has recently joined the Lynde team, stepping into the position of Front of House Manager and Meeting Room Coordinator, following in the footsteps of her parents, looking forward to making the restaurant and catering a third-generation owned business.

I have been eating here for 20 years. Three years ago, they built a brand new restaurant, and it just got better. Great home cooking, good portions, nice decor, liquor and beer, and a varied menu with daily breakfast and lunch specials. They have hand-pressed hamburgers that are fabulous, and the French fries are the best. They also do excellent catering. You can't go wrong stopping here. - Anonymous

This restaurant is a MUST stop. They have breakfast to die for, lunch with portions that will fill you until the next day, and wonderful dinner specials. I have been here several times in the last month since stopping for my first time at the beginning of July. I have had breakfast that was so good I wish I could have eaten it all. I had lunch that was the same, good, down-home cooking with LARGE portions. I had the all you could eat crab legs that were always hot and never a wait for them. I got married in May, and I used Lynde's Catering for my wedding. I was so stressed out like every bride is before the big day. I had a fear of running out of food and making sure that the catering was taken care of. When I called and talked to Cathy, she was so confident and easy to talk to; it made over half of my stress go away. When it came to the big day and dinner was out, it was an unbelievable setup! The buffet was perfect, and the food was to die for. We had no worries about running out and everyone that wanted to get seconds and thirds.
