Our Services

At Presto Dent Company, we specialize in providing paintless dent repair (PDR) services to our customers. PDR first emerged in the late 1980s as an innovative way to repair dents and dings on automotive production lines in Europe. Over time, it has evolved into an effective and less expensive method for removing small dings and dents from cars made with a thinner grade of sheet metal.

Our skilled technicians utilize state-of-the-art tools to reach dings and dents on any vehicle. They can access the damaged area from behind the panel, as well as a method called glue pulling from the outside, while massaging the metal back to its original position and retaining the factory finish. The major advantage of this method is that the exterior finish of the vehicle remains virtually undisturbed, so repainting is almost never required. Repairs also generally cost significantly less than conventional body shop methods.

However, there are limitations to this method. We do not repair collision damage resulting from an accident, damage to plastic or steel bumpers, or sharp dents with paint damage. Applications of our services include minor dings and dents, creases, larger damage, and hail damage.

Minor Dings & Dents

Most of us have been victims of parking lot dings and dents at one time or another. The culprit could be a rogue shopping cart or even a carelessly opened door. Not to worry, a dent like this can be taken care of in less than an hour for a fraction of what a body shop would charge.

Creases

Creases can range in size depending on how the other car or object impacts your vehicle. They are annoying to look at and potentially costly for a body shop to repair. PDR is an effective technique for this type of repair and can save costly paint blending and disassembly time.

Fender smashes and larger damage can occur from a variety of unfortunate circumstances. These repairs use the same techniques and tools but require the most patience and expertise. Our skilled technicians have repaired dents like these with great success.

Hail Damage

Living in the Midwest, we deal with hail every year. For some, hail damage is almost unavoidable and can be very destructive to a car's exterior panels. PDR is recognized by all insurance companies as a preferred repair technique for this type of damage.
