For almost 30 years, D&E Electric, Inc. has proudly served Southern New England residents and businesses. Founded and located in Warwick, R.I., D&E Electric, Inc. is a family owned & operated electrical contractor. Our company is run by Donald (President, Master Electrician), Elaina (Vice President), and Gregory Kowalski (Journeyman Electrician). We have nearly 40 years of combined experience in the electrical trade, with an enormous variety of work in our portfolio. Our electricians are licensed in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. We strive to provide our customers with excellent quality service at competitive prices. Our company has been built on strong client relationships and its because we've delivered an exceptional, professional experience and service to our clients for nearly 30 years.

Our Team

Donald and Elaina Kowalski, husband and wife team, formed D&E Electric and incorporated in 1991. Don and Elaina are the owners and oversee the daily operations of the company. Don began his career as an electrician in an electrical contractor's shop cleaning their warehouse and stocking material, and then moved on to work for Nolin Electric as an apprentice. Prior to the electrical trade he was a tow truck driver and mechanic for East Side Enterprises in Providence, RI. He attended the RI School of Electronics and is adept with electronics and computers. Don is a licensed master electrical contractor in RI and a journeyman wireman in MA. Elaina mans the office and shop full time, and occasionally helps in the field. They have twin boys, born in 1991.

Greg Kowalski, son of Don and Elaina, and licensed journeyman wireman in RI, NH, and MA, assists in the everyday operations of the company while working in the field. Greg attended the RI Construction Training Academy in Central Falls and graduated from Rhode Island College in 2013.

We offer a variety of services to our clients including custom remodels and rewiring. Whether you're remodeling your home or a commercial space, our team will assist from design to finish in getting your project completed on time. We specialize in taking on the challenges of a building's older wiring systems and updating them, while maintaining historical and architectural features. If your home has older wiring that needs replacement, our experienced team of licensed electricians have professionally rewired dozens of homes in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

We are fully insured and hold an electrical contractor's license in RI (A-003259) and journeyman's license in MA (E-38600). Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality service and ensuring our clients' satisfaction.
