GraceWorks Childcare

Our Mission

Established in 1998 as an outreach program of Grace Episcopal Church, GraceWorks Childcare is committed to providing Medford families with affordable, high-quality childcare in a nurturing and stimulating environment. We believe that every child is unique and deserves an opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace. Our non-denominational, culturally responsive approach welcomes families of diverse backgrounds, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Early Childhood Education Program

Our comprehensive Early Childhood Education program is tailored to meet the needs of children ages 2 through 4 years old. We understand that the early years are crucial for development, and our curriculum is designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Through play-based learning experiences, children explore their world, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a love for learning. We provide developmentally appropriate year-round care, operating Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

After-School Program

For school-aged children in kindergarten through fifth grade, we offer a vibrant and engaging After-School Program. We believe that after-school hours should be a time for continued exploration, creativity, and connection. Our program provides a safe and supportive space for children to unwind after school, collaborate with peers, and participate in enriching activities. We offer extended care on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and on Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm, aligning with the school day schedule.

Engaging Curriculum

At GraceWorks Childcare, we strive to create a dynamic learning environment that caters to each child's individual interests and abilities. Our curriculum seamlessly blends educational activities with hands-on exploration, fostering a lifelong love of learning. We incorporate a variety of approaches, including art, music, storytelling, nature walks, and science experiments, ensuring that every child's unique talents are nurtured and celebrated.

Faith-Based Foundations

While GraceWorks Childcare operates under the umbrella of Grace Episcopal Church, our program welcomes children and families from all faith backgrounds. We believe in instilling ethical values and fostering a sense of compassion and respect in all our programs. Our approach to faith integration is gentle and inclusive, embracing diverse beliefs and fostering understanding among our diverse community.
