The Caring Center & Verona Montessori House stand as a cornerstone of the Verona community, providing nurturing care and fostering young minds for over 50 years. Founded by experienced educator Thelma Peters and fueled by Diane Peters' passionate leadership, our center has grown alongside families, offering a continuity of care and learning from infancy through early adolescence.

Our Beginnings

Our journey began in a rented classroom, blossoming into a vibrant learning environment that now encompasses three buildings and diverse programs. Over the years, we have adapted and evolved, expanding our offerings to cater to the ever-changing needs of families.

Our Philosophy

At The Caring Center, we believe in fostering a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, discover, and grow to their full potential. We embrace the Montessori philosophy, promoting self-discovery, creativity, and a love for learning through hands-on exploration and individualized guidance.

We offer a comprehensive range of programs catering to diverse age groups:

• Two & Three's: Nurturing social and emotional development in a cozy and stimulating environment.
• Three & Four's: Developing social skills, exploring their senses, and fostering a love for exploration.
• Pre-K: Building independence, developing fine and gross motor skills, and engaging in age-appropriate learning activities.
• Verona Montessori House: A unique, mixed-age program fostering collaboration, creativity, and a love for discovery.
• CC's Clubhouse: An enriching after-school and summer camp experience for school-aged children.
