Supporting Families Together Association (SFTA) is Wisconsin's member association for Child Care Resource & Referral Agencies (CCR&Rs) and Family Resource Centers (FRCs). We provide services, programming, and supports to our member agencies in order to positively impact children, parents, child care providers, and the world of early childhood care and education throughout Wisconsin.
Our Mission
Our mission is to envision a future where all Wisconsin children have access to the highest quality child care. We aim to achieve this by providing resources, training, and support to our member agencies, enabling them to provide high-quality care and education to children.
Services Offered
SFTA offers a range of services to our member agencies, including:
- Technical assistance and training for child care professionals
- Program development and implementation support
- grant writing and funding opportunities
- Advocacy and policy development
- Research and data analysis
- Community engagement and partnerships
Why Early Childhood Matters
We believe that early childhood education is the foundation of a child's future success. High-quality early childhood education has been shown to improve cognitive, social, and emotional development, leading to better academic performance, social skills, and life outcomes. However, many Wisconsin families struggle to access affordable, high-quality child care, which can have long-term consequences for children's development. That's why we're committed to supporting our member agencies in providing high-quality care and education to children across the state.
Our Impact
In 2023, SFTA's member agencies referred over 7,000 children to regulated child care, provided over 10,000 technical assistance interactions with families, and delivered over 1,500 training interactions with child care professionals. Our work is making a difference in the lives of Wisconsin's children and families.
