Welcome to the Eugene Estate Planning Council
The Eugene Estate Planning Council (EEPC) is a non-profit organization that brings together estate planning professionals from Eugene, Springfield, and Lane County. Our members include attorneys, accountants, life underwriters, planned giving officers, trust officers, and certified financial planners. With a diverse membership of over 70 professionals, EEPC offers a unique platform for education, discussion, and networking within the estate planning community.
Interdisciplinary Aspects of Estate Planning
At EEPC, we believe in the importance of an interdisciplinary approach to estate planning. By fostering collaboration and communication among various estate planning professionals, we strive to create comprehensive and tailored solutions for our clients. Our council members work together to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative strategies, ultimately delivering superior services and maintaining the highest standards of integrity in the estate planning industry.
Meetings and Educational Opportunities
Hosting six meetings annually, EEPC offers engaged members the chance to earn up to 8 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. These events feature experienced and knowledgeable speakers addressing pertinent topics that keep our members' skills and knowledge bases current. Networking opportunities are also an integral part of our meetings, giving members the chance to connect and collaborate with other estate planning professionals from the Eugene-Springfield area and beyond.
Affiliation with National Association of Estate Planners & Councils
EEPC is proudly affiliated with the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). This affiliation offers various benefits, including the opportunity for our members to apply for the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation. This esteemed designation is held by fewer than 5,000 professionals nationwide and underscores our members' commitment to excellence in estate planning. To learn more about the AEP designation, please contact the national office at 866-226-2224.
